Unpleasantries: Fakes
I generally try to keep my tumblr all sweetness and light, but there are unpleasant issues that I care about deeply. One of many is just how bad counterfeit goods are, i.e., fakes. Purses, shoes, electronics, etc., I personally would never, ever buy a fake anything. Not only is it stealing intellectual property from an artist but there are many, many other much darker, more ominous reasons not to buy fakes. If you are curious about this subject, and would like to do your own research and form your own opinions, I encourage you to do so, and have provided a few links below that I found helpful.
