Yesterday was Marie-Louise’s birthday. She received a lovely crocheted pink fawn squeaky toy from her adoring parents, and the three of us went for a drive today and out to lunch to celebrate. At lunch she made the acquaintance of an exceptionally charming and polite squirrel. After lunch we took her to Three Dog Bakery so she could pick out a birthday cupcake. On the drive back we took some artsy photographs in the automobile.
